The Name of Yahuah
Does it really matter?
About a year after l left The Seventh-day Adventist Christian Church, I made a video entitled “Why I am no longer a Christian, following Yahuah.” You may have seen it on YouTube. In that video I explained my belief in The whole Bible, why I use The name of Yahuah, and how the Christian church wasn’t a good fit for me because of that. It was The Spring of 2013 when I first left. It’s hard to believe it’s been 12 years since then.
No matter how long it’s been for you, it’s good to come around to foundational principles again and again. It’s good to remember the verses in Scripture that first showed us the light. Today I want to focus on why we worship using The Name of Yahuah, The Most High. And yes, it does matter.
Let’s mediate on some of those foundational Scriptures together. I pray The Set apart Spirit of The Most High Yah will continue to lead and guide us all into truth.
You can listen to the video, or follow along with the verses typed out for you below.
They’re all quoted from The Scriptures (TS2009) unless otherwise noted.
“The Name of יהוה is a strong tower; The righteous run into it and are safe.”
Proverbs 18:10
“So I sing praise to Your Name forever, When I pay my vows day by day.”

“Sing to Elohim, sing praises to His Name. Raise up a highway for Him Who rides through the deserts, By His Name Yah, And exult before Him.”
Psalms 68:4
“We sing of Your deliverance, And in the Name of our Elohim we set up a banner! יהוה does fill all your requests! Now I know that יהוה shall save His Anointed; He answers him from His set-apart heavens With the saving might of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, But we remember the Name of יהוה our Elohim.”
Psalms 20:5–7
““Therefore My people shall know My Name, in that day, for I am the One who is speaking. See, it is I.””

Their ascending offerings and their slaughterings are accepted on My slaughter-place, for My house is called a house of prayer for all the peoples.””
Isaiah 56:6–7
“Through Him then, let us continually offer up a slaughter offering of praise to Elohim, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His Name.”
Hebrews 13:15
“I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the LORD.”
Psalm116:17KJV
“And Elohim said to Mosheh, “I am that which I am.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Yisra’ĕl, ‘I am has sent me to you.’
”And Elohim said further to Mosheh, “Thus you are to say to the children of Yisra’ĕl, ‘יהוה Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Aḇraham, the Elohim of Yitsḥaq, and the Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.’”
Exodus3:14–15
““Guard yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it be a snare in your midst. “But break down their slaughter-places, and smash their pillars, and cut down their Ashĕrim – for you do not bow yourselves to another mighty one, for יהוה, whose Name is jealous, is a jealous Ěl –”

And I shall write on him the Name of My Elohim and the name of the city of My Elohim, the renewed Yerushalayim, which comes down out of the heaven from My Elohim, and My renewed Name. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.” ’”

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him. “Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.””
John 4:23-24

Thank you very much, Hadarah! This is a great reminder of the immense importance of using the name of The Most High and no other name. I also transitioned out of Christianity, and it has been challenging since most of my immediate family still practices Christianity. It is truly comforting to see that others speak the name of Yahuah, The Most High. 😊
HallaluYAH! Yes it’s so comforting to know there are others out there who know and walk in the truth. Praise Yahuah! I’m so glad you’re here, and that you enjoyed this as well. Yah bless you Sis Hadassah 🙂
Thank you! May Yahuah bless you as well, Hadarah.

Shabbat shalum Sis Kim ❤️🤗 Thank you for sharing as well! That’s another great one!! Let’s continue to call on His name!! Thank you SO much 😌
Shabbot shalom Sis. This is my first time commenting. I like your words of encouragement, wisdom, and heartfelt sharing.
THIS one resonated so deeply I could feel the spirit of wisdom moving over me. It refreshed my awakening and awareness in our mighty Yahuah and his calling both me and my daughter to him, home. It’s so very important to get back to “basics.”
We study so much, pray, repent, and fast, and continually seek him as a vital necessity that at times, at least for myself, we forget the POWER in his name.
Thank you for the reminder.
Halleluyah!
HallaluYAH! So much power in His name!! Let’s give Him all the praise!! And welcome to the comment section YahTai. It’s great to see you here. Yah bless!!
