Passover is a week away and I’m sitting here today thinking to myself – wow. SO MUCH has changed in my life since I met Yahuah. It was two years ago that I took off to go to an organic farm, longing for a deeper connection with my Creator. I just knew I had to get away. I knew there was more, much more than what the church had to offer. Seeds had been planted in my life all throughout my childhood, but it wasn’t until I made the decision to step outside of the hustle and bustle of life and the loud opinions of those around me, that I was able to truly hear my Maker’sΒ voice and follow His lead.
In the Spring of 2013 I came to accept the name of our Heavenly Father, Yahuah, and his son Yahusha, our Messiah. I committed myself not only to keep Shabbat as I had been doing all my life, but also to let go of pagan holidays like Christmas and Easter etc, and to learn more about the feasts in Leviticus 23 and the significance they still hold today. Β These wonderful appointed times of our Creator help us remember, not only of what He has done for our ancestors in the past, but also who He is, and what he will do for us, His special chosen people, as we approach the end of time as we know it. If you’re reading this and you’ve never heard of the feasts days, and you are curious to learn more about them, leave a comment on this blog post and let me know.
Many people say thatΒ Christians are the chosenΒ people. They say if you’re not aΒ Christian then you can’t be saved. The Jews also say that they are the chosen people. Some even go as far as believing that salvation comes by your bloodline and others somehow believe it has to do withΒ the colour of your skin! I disagree with all of the above. There’s is no man or religion that can determine your salvation. Yahuah is salvation (Psalms 27:1)Β And so, we must be in Him.Β His people are called by His name. His people seek His face. His people choose to turn from their wicked ways and literally follow Him.
Just like there are signs on the road that show youΒ what street you are on, and what direction you are headed in, there are signs of the covenant. They show you whoΒ you are in a relationship with, and whether or not you are living your life in a way that is pleasing to The Father. Most people are concerned about NOT getting the mark of the beast. A lot of those same peopleΒ have forgotten about the mark or sign that sets them apart as People. If you don’t want the mark of the beast, understand the mark of Yahuah. Learn about the everlasting covenant, and the signs of the covenant. The Sabbat is a sign, The Feasts are a sign, and The Father’s Name is also a sign. There are other signs but these are great places to start.
And No, it is not the signs that save us, but the signs show we are being saved. We must never think it is our religion or our actions save us. The truth is when we accept the free gift of salvation, we will have the desire to accept all, be all, and to do all that the SaviourΒ is calling us to.
Why Does the Creator’s name Β matter?Β
Psalms 69:35,36
Psalms 119:132
Isaiah 56:6-7
Revelation 14:1
The scriptures above show that whether you are a foreigner or of the literal seed of Abraham, it is The Father’s NAME that sets you apart. It is those who love The Name who will be delivered and protected. Yes the name does matter. We can not say we love the Father and then continue to ignore His Name.Β Β The scripture teaches us the significance of loving not only YahuahΒ Himself, but also His name and everything that it represents.
What if I use the title LORD to worship Him?
For many years I believed that it was OK for me to say Lord in reference to my Creator, after all, the word “Lord” is all throughout the Bible I was reading. But even inside of the Bible, the KJV and others, in the front introductory pages, or in the dictionary in the back -depending on the version, it clearly states that LORD is actually a substitution for theΒ four Hebrew letters of The Father’s name YHUH or YHWH which when you study those letters in the original Hebrew language, you learn the name sounds like “Yahuah” in english.Β (If you want to learn more about this, leave a comment on the blog and let me know.) The bottom line is, The Father’s personalΒ name was removed from the scriptures nearly 7 thousand times. And in the latter days, His name will be restored. (Zeph 3:9)
The more I focused on the truth,Β the more I came to realize that, just like how all the pagan holidays – Christmas and Easter etc – were all distracting me from the valuable gifts that come from celebrating Yahuah’sΒ Feasts Days…. There are pagan influences all throughout our language, and those influences can distract and take away from the gift of being able to understandΒ more of the truth, includingΒ Yahuah’s personal name. Deuteronomy 28 teaches us that there are good thingsΒ that will come to us when we walk in the truth. It was time for me to make a change.
I’ll never forget the day when it hit me loud and clear. Lord =Baal. Baal isΒ a false god. And I asked myself, Why am I calling on the name of a false god???Β I was on blueletterbible.com using the Strong’s concordance. I still use that site for a lot of my study today. I clicked on Ba’al in that scripture passage below. And I saw the meaning …
The word H1180Β Ba’aliy= my lordΒ
And it comes from
H1167 Ba’al = owner, husband, lord
See Also H1168Β
Ba’al =lord
It occurs 80 times in 68 verses in the Hebrew concordance of the KJV. Here are a few examples for further study….
- HoseaΒ 2:13
- JudgesΒ 2:11-13; 3:7
- 1 Samuel 7:4
- 1 KingsΒ 16:31; 18:18-26;Β 22:53
- JeremiahΒ 12:16
I’ll type out a few more for you here below so you can see the versesΒ right here and now.
Jeremiah 23:27
The scripture actually saysβ¦ “their fathers have forgotten My name for Baβalβ
WOW. That’s exactly what’s happening today.
Ba’al=lordΒ and you can look it up for yourself, and lord isΒ what we have put in place of The Father’s name.
β’ Need a couple more examples? Click the boxes below.
Jeremiah 32:29
Zeph 1:4
The word Ba’al in all of those textsΒ is literally defined as lord. If the word lord is so closely connected to Ba’al and the worship of falseΒ deities, how can we choose toΒ continue to use this word in place of the name ofΒ the OneΒ True Mighty One? He is Creator of the Universe, and if I say He is my personal friend, yet I call Him by the name of a false mighty one…. No. He is Yahuah.Β And if I love Him,Β I will love His Name, seek the truth and all that His name represents.
It is after the truthΒ was revealed, and through much study and prayer, that I knew I could not go back to the way my life was before. I could not sit down in the pews of the church as they called on “The Lord” and embraced more and more pagan ways and pagan holy days.
“For all the peoples walk, each one in the name of his mighty one, but We walk in the Name of Yahuah our Elohim forever and ever.” Micah 4:5
There are so many people whoΒ I know are still searching for the truth. For my friends who are still calling on “God” and “Lord” etc, I pray this will lead you back to the scriptures. Do you want to be in a covenant with The Lord or with Yahuah? Your Creator has a personal name, and His name is a sign. Whether you agree or disagree with the way it’s pronounced, we can know without a doubt, His name is notΒ “THE LORD.” I believe His name is Yahuah. Truly His name is just the beginning. There is so much more to come.
Feel free to leave a comment on this blog post and let me know your thoughts. You can also share scriptures that will encourage the body.Β The Feasts Days of Yahuah are approaching.Β Here’s to the pursuit of truth. Share this blog post with a friend who calls on “The Lord.” It’s possible that no one else has toldΒ them the truth.

I Sheron AkA Sheabey. Have just learned the truth as well I was once a so called Christian and then I left to church.I became aware of our true history and I was a part of the Muslim movement or religion but . I stopped with that because I know thatβs a creators son name was not Jesus and I learned that the creator name is not Allah all of this made me unhappy and uncomfortable so I left Islam as well because I realized that it was all the same religion just a different name. I am great full for this blog

Yes! He is so good!!
Forgot to say: the travesty of this pagan holiday “easter” is that people traditionally eat – of all things – easter ham. This is terrible.
Halal u Yahuah for HIS set apart days and HIS set apart feasts !!
It is an honor to grow in Yahuah and learn about Yahuah u Yahusha’s ways. It’s a true barakah that I don’t take lightly. Each year, HE allows me to understand some more about HIS feasts.
Yes it’s a beautiful thing that we can keep growing every year… HalaluYah π
This is awesome to read. I have come to know some of these truths and have become set apart as well. I wrote something explaining my journey. I will be forwarding them to you. Please share your thought with me about what I send you.
Sure thing! I’ll take a look as soon as i can Kathy π Glad you’re living set-apart!! Praise Yah…
HalleluYAH! Beautiful, awesome, and breath-taking story. I absolutely adore how Yahuah has delivered all of us in nearly the same way – proof that it is the same Ruach drawing us. Thank you so much for sharing your deliverance story with us, as I will share it with several of my family & friends still asleep. Love you so much Sis!
Isn’t it awesome how that happens Jennifer? And it’s amazing the amount of people that it’s been happening to all around the same time as well! I’ve meet so many people who told me that they’re journey started just about 2 or 3 years ago…. and more are waking up… Praise Yahuah π Let’s pray our friends and fam are also open to more truth…

I need to know the truth… what is the truth?
Glad you’re searching Jd! The answer to your question is found in John 17:17 π If you have more questions – feel free to ask my friend!
HalaluYAH! This was amazing reading this. I just wrote my Dad a letter last week discussing these very topics! He is still very much a Christian and I wanted to help him get a better understanding I focused on the name as well and gave him many of the same verses! I have yet to hear from him…I know I was not harsh or disrespectful I was just speaking truth, but we know the truth can be hard for some people. Reading this was very encouraging! This is my families first Pasak/Passover and we are very excited.
You are so right I do think even for people who know the truth to get distracted with skin color, blood line, and religion that we completely forget about Yahuah, and his will and what he is asking of us. Praise Yahuah! Thank you for this post and sharing!
Yes Nasheka you are correct, the truth is hard to hear from many people… I pray you and your fam will enjoy your first Pasak! Praise Yahuah π Welcome in!!! π

HalaYAHUAH My Achoti Hadarah, I read your Blog and it’s wonderful to me.. I have a question What’s your thoughts on the name of Jesus?
Shalum Keisha… glad you’re enjoying the blog! Praise Yahuah… my thoughts on the name of Jesus? Well that could never have been his name…. the letter J didn’t even exist when he was on earth… There are many different interpretations of how to pronounce the hebrew letters of the messiah’s name… I believe his name is Yahusha. What do you believe? Either way I can not wait till the day we get to meet him face to face and understand it all…. May His Kingdom quickly come <3
HalleluYahuah!!! Thank you Sis for sharing your awesome and wonderful story of deliverance! I truly enjoyed this blog and each year I get more understanding of Yahuah’s feast days. I will share it with my friends and family. Shalom and Yahuah baruch you abundantly throughout the new year!
Shalom Kim, may Yahuah baruch you as well! So glad you’re enjoying the blog sis…
Your testimony is very encouraging and inspiring, thank you so much for sharing this with us! I am more convinced than ever that it wasn’t a coincidence for me to come across the name of Yahuah just last year. I have never known about the feast days and I am interested in learning more about these appointed times. I would also like to learn more about the Father’s name in the ancient Hebrew, and how the pronunciation in English works out to “yahuah.” When you were studying the name, did you look only at the Hebrew scriptures, or did you also study the Greek and Latin translations?
Shalum Emily π Praise Yahuah! I’m that you’ve been encouraged and inspired. To your question about the name of Yahuah and the languages… Hebrew is older than Greek or Latin and so that’s where my focus has been since the ideal is to get back to the original. Is it OK if I share a few videos with you? These helped me a lot along the way. Here are a few vids that explain why I agree with saying Yahuah instead of other English pronunciations
This vid is from Lew White from Torah Institute. He goes into the ancient Hebrew and where letters like W came from in English too. Itβs pretty cool. This is actually the vid that convinced me the most. Itβs about 10 min long.

And here is a very long video from one of my FAVE teachers, Lamadyahu π Love his stuff!! It’s a lot more scholarly than the videos before but it’s really interesting to hear these other approaches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2g-F3t5M70
I hope these resources help you along your journey!!!! And as for learning about the feasts, send me an email from the contact page of this site and I’ll connect you with some Hebrew Teachers that I trust so you can learn more π Talk soon Sis. Sending love.
Shalom Hadarah! I’m happy that I found your blog through your YouTube video explaining your beliefs. I grew up SDA. Last July-August I felt somewhat empty in my spiritual life. I saw an Instagram post about the name Jesus and I felt I was using the wrong name. Throughout this first year of college I felt as the Father was leading me but I couldn’t figure out where. A few days ago it all clicked for me. I realized the importance of His name and laws and that I was not following Him how He instructed. I feel His Ruach leading me towards His truth and plan for my life. I’m beginning to study the Scriptures for myself. I’m actually excited to read the Word and I’ve never felt this way before. I now realized that I felt dissatisfied with my religion and that I was missing something important. Now as I start my journey, I pray that can let go of religion and follow Yahuah according to His Word. Thank you for your testimony!
That’s beautiful… i’m so so glad to hear your testimony and your desire to continue growing in truth!! Never lose that. Keep looking up! Yahuah will guide you all the way. All praise to Yahuah π Enjoy studying the scriptures and stay in touch!
Hadarah, I appreciate this blog. It’s true that I love truth seekers. That’s why I “accidentally found” your blog, but I know He led me hear. I know you said that you personally keep the Shabbat and I was wondering, how do you do that exactly?
Keiza, it’s great to hear from you… i’m glad that you’re seeing the truth! And you’re right about Yahuah leading you. To answer your question about how I personally keep shabbat.. well for myself it’s about celebrating who Yahuah is. Taking time to stop all the things that normally take me away from Him like work and secular music or videos, and just resting, singing praises, coming together with other believers when ever possible, and essentially having a little vacation away from the rest of the world every week. I’m grateful for the friends Yahuah’s given me to assemble with, they’re about 2 hrs away so i don’t get to see them every week, but whether I meet with them or not, it’s a set apart day where I don’t have to do any work π And instead of working, the day is filled with rest, worship, relaxation, and praise! I hope that this helps to answer you… and that you will continue to look to Yahuah in the pursuit of truth.
Can you please email me information about the name Yahuah and Yahusha. Everyone has different names even as Hebrew Israelites and has scriptures and information to back it. Very confused.
Hi Hadassah, forgive my late response to your question. Revelation 19:12 says The Messiah has a name that no man knows. Revelation 3:12 actually says he has a new name. I believe that different variations you hear others use for the Hebrew names are simply attempt at using English letters to represent the Hebrew sounds that represent the Father and the Messiah’s name. As you know I personally say “Yahuah” and “Yahusha,” but more important than the pronunciation, is the fact that you recognize that the Messiah is Hebrew, and that He came in his Father’s name – which is His character and His authority. Hope that helps!!
Hello Hadarah,
Forgive me for my greeting or lack of Hebrew terminology. I am completely and utterly new to even the idea of the Hebrew language let alone the significance of it over traditional the English I’ve been born into. I want to first thank you for your work and efforts of sharing and allowing the most high ton use you as a vessel of direction leading truth seekers toward the correct path of seeking. I apologize to ask for more of you when youve already done so muche, however I must inquire about how to begin this journey of truth. For starters, What bible do you recommend is closest to the truth and authenticity I seek to be equipped with what’s neccessary? How does one come to learn or understand the native language of our father and his son while being completely foreign to us? And what teachers or information do you deem trust worthy? I understand holidays to be of pagan origins because of the spirit of decernment inside me but am unaware of feast days or what day the shabbat falls on each week? I supposed I’m truelly asking for any tip towards the resources yout were led into that helped you gain such knowledge and the freedom of truth? How to understand what Set-Apart means to believers. I know only one path leada to this truth just like only one path leads to salvation. So forgive me of my email I not implying all questions be answered. I’may just asking for the lead. And what to avoid all together while taking this journey for sources of guidance and truth. Bible versions, church etc. I am very new to the idea of coming into this knowledge for myself so again forgive me. However thank you in advanced.
Best regards
Tony
