If you’re new here I’m glad you came. We have these challenges on the last week of the month so we can focus on spiritual growth as a community while developing our own personal relationship with Yah. Subscribe so that we can stay connected.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Colossians 3:2
7 day Scripture Challenge.
- Take 5 mins every morning to repeat Colossians 3:2 to yourself.
- Say it out loud and memorize the words.
- Internalize the words.
- Take your time and let the words run deep.
- Allow the Word of Yahuah to come inside of you and overflow to the rest of your life.
- You will have more peace of mind, more calmness and assurance…
- You will see that stress and the anxiety in your life will have less power over you when you consciously choose to focus on the Word of Yahuah.
REMEMBER: Where your focus goes, energy flows. I believe that’s a loose quotation from Tony Robins. These scripture challenges, and the music you find here at Set Apart Heart are designed to help you focus on Yahuah. You have the power to choose to focus on Him, no matter what is happening in the world or in your life.
Now, while things are “relatively” calm, in comparison to how bad we KNOW things will be, is the time that we should practice setting our affection on things above. Let’s make meditation on the word of Yahuah a daily practice in our lives.

Ok so I actually didn’t meditate today yet but I repeated the verse over and over in the shower (not quite 5 mins) and already I have a testimony or revelation.
I received a message from my brother asking about how I was doing and I just so happen to be expecting a huge change in my life in the next year so I shared this with him. Right away the concerns and worries probably filled him and he expressed nothing less than all that worry onto myself and not a word of encouragement. Most likely in other cases I would have internalized this and taken in personally however today I saw clearly that this had nothing to do with me.
Hasatan who runs the show here on earth works through strongholds in families, lack of faith and seeks to destroy the precious thing/seed/word that Yah has put in our hearts and in turn tries to destroy our destiny. So in this case I just found myself turning to the things above–not the worries of what’s here on earth.
So I am just so thankful today and I am looking forward to the rest of the challenge!

I am thankful to Abba YaH for giving me revelation when I read this book a few months ago. I had underlined 3:1-5 amongst others.
I was led to meditate on verses 1 as well as 2 for this scriptural challenge, which has brought tears to my eyes based on a previous message from Abba YaH a few years ago.
